The Tudor Inn Hotel

The room had a safe, but we weren't given its code, and there were too few pillows, at least four per bed would be better. Booking also didn't make it clear that check-in was at a different hotel across the street, so we had to cross back again to find our room. The staff weren't very friendly and didn't offer a welcome. They could store bags, but charged quite a lot per bag for the day. The stay was okay, though it could be better. London can feel like a money grab. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it, and I'd look for somewhere a bit better if possible.

The room was clean and nicely presented, and I was glad to have one on the ground floor as requested. The shower recess was excellent and the hot water was good. Staff were friendly and helpful, too. I was very happy with my choice of the Tudor Inn for an overnight London stay. It's very central for the theatre, and I'd be happy to stay again.

The location was great for my concert at Cadogan Hall, just a short walk away. I came by train from Euston to Victoria, and the hotel was around the corner. Check-in was easy, though reception is actually at Warwick House across the street. The room is quite small, but it worked for one night as a solo traveler with just a rucksack, especially for less than a big-name hotel while still having a room of my own. The bed might be a bit short for taller people. You can hear street noise, but since it's not on a main road, it wasn't too bad.

The bathroom had no ventilation, and steam from a short shower set off the fire alarm. That felt unsafe and points to poor management. The room itself was cramped, dusty, and the bed didn't feel clean. The air conditioning didn't work, and the plug sockets were broken. Cleanliness and comfort seemed to get no attention. The Tudor Inn looks nothing like its online photos. In reality it's smaller, dirtier, and badly maintained. A waste of money, time, and sanity. I'd stay somewhere else.
