Travelodge London Acton

The rooms were clean and spacious, with basic amenities, and getting into central was easy with one tube. I stayed on the ground floor for two nights and it stayed pretty quiet overnight, even though we were right beside the train tracks. The shower pressure wasn't great, but nothing major, and the TV was a bit small though it worked well and was a bonus. It isn't five-star, but it's worth the price. I'd recommend it and come back.

The bed was large and comfortable, and I slept well. The stay was decent, but the room had no view, so the lights had to stay on. The old 21-inch TV wasn't what I expected, as I thought there'd be a smart TV. There were few vegetarian or halal food options, the WiFi wouldn't work and was difficult to set up, and there was no room phone to call reception or room service. The air con also kept switching itself on.

I’ve been here for four weeks for work, and the ongoing problems have made this a poor stay. Staff haven’t followed up on requests or complaints, and I’ve had no luck getting a manager to call or email. I’ve also found it very difficult to speak with anyone who understands English well. Each week there’s been another issue, and staff have lied about things. My company doesn’t pay for my stay, but I’ve asked them to stop sending staff to this North Acton travelodge. We stayed at Whetstone Finchley before, where issues were sorted immediately. If you want good service, this isn’t the right travel lodge.

Smita helped my husband with all our bags and packages on April 17th, while I was in the hospital having surgery. He uses a wheelchair, and she carried and moved everything on her own. Her kindness and support meant a lot to our family at a very difficult time. She’s a genuinely thoughtful person, and we wish her every success and happiness in her career.
