Travelodge London Finsbury Park

I felt safe travelling alone and enjoyed breakfast, though a few more pastry choices would have been nice. The hotel was handy for transport and the event I was attending, and the staff were friendly and helpful from the start. Hasan at reception sorted out a problem for me. The cleaning needs attention, especially in an accessible room. One sheet had a stain, there was rubbish under the bed, something seemed to have spilled on the wall, and the skirting board needed a proper clean. I'd stay again and hope the cleaning has improved.

The rooms are small, but perfectly suitable. It's also close to the train station and a small express shop. The receptionists were friendly and polite every time we came or went, and they dealt with our issues straight away. A really pleasant stay.

The room felt quite modern and the bed was comfortable. The location is good too, close to the tube. Some of the female staff weren't very welcoming, with no smile or effort to make customers feel at ease. The young male receptionists seemed friendlier.

The room was fine, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the location, not far from Finsbury Park train/underground station. It's a smaller Travelodge than some I've stayed in. That's fine, though the breakfast area doesn't have space for many guests, so I wonder how it copes on a busy morning. You know what to expect with a Travelodge once you've stayed at one.
