Urban Rest Bermondsey

The team went out of their way to bring me fans and help troubleshoot the cooling during a crazy hot week in London. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, three minutes from the tube, with great running routes along the river and the delights of Tower Bridge, Bourough Market and Bermondsey nearby. Urban Rest was the best value I found in London.

We had a great time here. The apartment was modern, clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. It was close to the subway, so reaching the city center and major attractions was quick and easy. Check-in and checkout were hassle-free, and the host was always quick and helpful in replying. One small improvement: an extra towel or two would have been nice.

The neighborhood has a charming, authentic feel, with a few lovely little shops nearby, and the city center isn’t far away. We also used the quiet, comfortable coworking space during work hours. Our brand-new studio was very comfortable, super clean, and had all the appliances we needed, thoughtfully arranged to feel like home. Thanks for a perfect stay. We’d definitely come back!

We stayed one night, then moved out, but were charged for all eight nights and refused a refund. We’d booked a place with Urban Rest in Camden, where the website photos showed bright, airy apartments. Instead, we were put in a dark, noisy basement flat. We’d asked what floor it was on before booking and got no answer; they only told us the night before arrival. When we pointed out that the property didn’t match the photos, they said they had multiple properties with the same amenities. They wouldn’t move us. Don’t be fooled by the polite replies. They don’t care.
