The pictures online are old and don’t show how bad the place is. There was a strong damp smell as soon as I came through the front door, the twin double room was very poor, and the bed linen and mattresses were stained. The property was generally in bad condition, and the upstairs bathroom was disgraceful. It was bad enough that we refused to stay, but neither the owners nor Booking.com would refund us. Stay away, you’ve been warned.

Rubbish everywhere, a blocked toilet, and a smell throughout the place. The host kept calling her son “maxmlair, maxmlair” all day, and the same sound was hitting my ears while I was trying to sleep. This place really fits the definition of the worst.

It’s budget accommodation with a private host, and it feels friendly and homely. You get what you pay for, a budget place at a budget price.
