The apartment looks great, has a stylish feel, and the location is unbeatable, right in the middle of everything. The beds are comfortable and the facilities are good, so it's well worth the price. A few things kept it from a perfect score, though. The shower is atrocious, with very weak water pressure. You have to wrap the curtain around yourself, yet water still ends up all over the bathroom floor. We couldn't use the lovely freestanding bath because there was no plug, or at least we couldn't find one. The windows don't shut properly, so outside noise can get in. And getting up and down three flights of stairs with luggage, a buggy and a baby was pretty tough.

The loft has an amazing view from every side, and the apartment is beautiful. It's a great base for theatre trips, and I'd definitely book again. They supplied tea and sugar, cutlery and crockery, plus a washer-dryer, microwave, kettle, cooker, hob and oven if you're staying a while. No coffee, though. There's WiFi and a TV in the living area and kitchen if you need them.

They offered a voucher for a future stay, as though I’d want to return after this. I emailed to cancel and got no reply, but they charged me before my arrival date anyway. It feels like they saw my email and won’t admit it. They’re refusing to refund any of the money, even during the Covid-19 crisis. Terrible communication.

The location is perfect. Just keep in mind the stairs if your room is on the fourth floor.
