Zedwell Greenwich

We came from Greece for a concert at The O2 and spent two nights at Zedwell Greenwich. It was just right for that kind of short trip. Getting to and from The O2 was easy, and central London was well connected too, so getting around felt simple. The room was quiet and comfortable, and we both slept well. It’s minimal, really meant for sleeping and showering rather than hanging out, which suited us perfectly. We could have used a few more wall hooks or hangers for two people’s coats, concert outfits and day clothes. It’d be an easy improvement without changing the design. Clean, simple and convenient, and I’d stay again for a similar London visit.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and readily helped with our questions. The rooms are plain but comfortable, with mood lighting and air conditioning that worked well. The lobby has a calm, zen-like look, even down to the soft background music. I’d book Zedwell again.

The location is great for the o2, with good bus links, though getting into the city takes a while. The rooms are genuinely comfortable and relaxing, but the windowless, noise-blocking setup means you get zero signal and have to rely on the hotel wifi. The bathroom door is frosted glass, so there’s no privacy, and you can hear everything from the rest of the room. Also, the handle is just a hole in the door. Please fix that. I was charged twice for early check-in because the concierge didn’t believe it was on my booking, even though the easy check-in machine showed I’d paid for it.

The staff were very kind, and the place felt clean with a modern interior. I stayed in an accessible coccoon and slept really well. More pillows would be nice, and maybe a desk, but I can’t complain much after such a good night’s sleep.
