We were right on the high street, which was a great location. We stayed Saturday night and had a really good time. The pub’s little lunch menu was a bargain at £7 each for a quality light bite, and the drinks were good with excellent service. Breakfast the next morning was a top-notch full English, really good quality. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks for a great night 😁

We had a lovely New Year’s Eve here. The room was large, had good facilities, and breakfast was nice as well. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and looked after everything we needed. It’s in a quiet little town, and we’d definitely come back. Thank you.

It’s always been a pleasant, well-kept spot for a pint or two. I haven’t tried the food yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

I booked Sunday lunch for eight, and felt responsible when it went so badly. We had to move because the bench table was dirty, then waited ages to order. The starters were disappointing, but the roast was inedible: raw vegetables and tough, gristly meat. Such a shame, because the food was good when I came a year ago. A total waste of money.
