Breakfast was a highlight, cooked just how you wanted each day, and the welcome was fantastic. There’s plenty of storage in the rooms, plus some great biscuits. The village sits just outside Morpeth, with the coast and A1 close by. There aren’t any pubs there, though Morpeth has lots of restaurants and takeaways. Thanks for having us.

The garden gave the kids plenty of safe space to play, and there were enough rooms for our group, most with their own bathrooms. We all made good use of the secret games room and pool table, adults included. There were two lounges and a big table where all nine of us could sit together. A lovely cottage, highly recommend it.

The host was warm and friendly, and breakfast was freshly cooked and great. The accommodation had everything I expected and more. I’ve loved all five days here and would definitely come back.

We could easily have stayed longer than a night. It’s a quiet part of the village, and though there aren’t many rooms, they’re very nice. Just a bed and breakfast, which suited us well.

A peaceful spot for a quiet break, about five minutes by taxi from Morpeth. The B&B was clean and very well presented, and the hosts gave us a warm welcome. The food was lovely. Definitely a place to stay.
