The hot chocolate is gorgeous, and the view makes this a lovely place for a winter walk. There’s a nice field behind the beach where you can run around or have a sand-free picnic, and we enjoyed wandering along the shore and around the edge of the beach. The sand is perfect for little paws to dig in, and the view is lovely. Toilets are clean and easy to get to, which is always a plus. Parking costs, but it’s not expensive, and there’s roadside parking too. A great beach with good facilities, well worth a visit.

There are lots of places to visit nearby, and I’d definitely stay again. The beach area has a splendid view of Loone island, with surfing and night finishing, plus a beachfront cafe bar serving pretty good food that’s dog friendly. The staff were very helpful, and the locals were friendly and accommodating. Our accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable. We had a small issue with the TV, but it was fixed. Some of the stairs up to the Villas could be difficult for disabled or elderly guests. Thanks to James for sorting out parking after I hurt my leg and couldn’t walk far.

The evening entertainment was a lovely unexpected extra, and it was exciting to see the plans for the site’s future. The location is absolutely beautiful, with a nice cafe and bar. All the staff were friendly and positive.

We stopped at the Sip N Slice bar for drinks and had a great time. The staff were great, the cocktails amazing, and the DJ played all kinds of music before ending the night with classic house.

The bar service was disappointing, as people were walking away when the staff kept disappearing. The place is in a beautiful location, and the accommodation is good. There’s a restaurant with basic food, plus a pizza place where the pizzas are delicious.
