The room had lots of character, and the gardens are beautiful, with toys to keep children and teenagers happy. There are vegetable and flower gardens, plus woodland and meadows to explore. Louth town is beautiful and only a short drive away. Our hosts were kind and friendly, always happy to suggest local places. One morning they even let the kids sit in the tractors. Such a peaceful place for a holiday, and I’d love to return.

Paul and Flora have thought of everything, and the accommodation was fantastic. There’s plenty to explore on the farm, and a gorgeous beach just 30 mins away by car. We loved our stay and hope to come back. It’s great for adults and children, and our little boy, just under 2, had a brilliant time.

Paul and Flora made our family feel really welcome and did their best to meet everyone’s different needs. Paul spent time showing the children the tractors and animals, they found a bouncer for our 3 month old son, and helped my father enjoy his stay despite his mobility issues. We were glad they were happy to share their lovely farm with us.

This place is set among lovely farmland, with stunning villages nearby, and it feels like stepping back in time. We had a fantastic weekend and hope to return. For a big group with children, you could do a lot worse. The owners let you roam the stunning garden and woods, and Paul and his wife are genuinely good people with outstanding hospitality. It isn’t five star luxury, though it’s very, very well kitted out. The nature of the place is what earns it five stars.

Everyone in our family group loved the accommodation. We stayed in all the available places, and the farm tour and all the thoughtful little touches made the weekend fabulous. Thank you, Paul and Flora. 😄
