The chapel is beautifully converted, with some really special features, and it made a brilliant base for exploring. We could just as easily have stayed in and relaxed without going anywhere. The kitchen was well equipped, and the hot tub was spotless and lovely and warm. Sitting in it on a cold, clear night and watching the stars was amazing. We had a fantastic weekend and will be back. Simply perfect.

Waking up early for coffee and watching the sheep in the fields, then soaking in the hot tub in the afternoon, was lovely. I also enjoyed a bubbly bath, hot chocolate by the fire, and a peaceful night’s sleep in one of the comfiest beds. My partner and I have just finished our weekend at this beautiful Chapel. We often seek out quirky stays in the countryside. We’ve tried a converted train carriage at Selby, a stargazing lodge in Wales, a tree house in Carlisle, a cabin in the Lake District, a Sherpeds hut in Cleasby, and now this wonderful Chapel in Hexham. This stay felt really different from the others, and it’s one I’ll remember. Credit to the owners for creating such a stunning, unique place!

These are lovely holiday cottages, converted with care so some of the history is still there. The fixtures and fittings are good quality, and the place feels set up for an enjoyable holiday. It’s almost central for both coasts, and Hexham is only a couple of minutes away by car. The Abbey has lots of history, and the old gaol is worth a visit.

The Tiny Chapel is full of charm and feels luxurious. You can tell a lot of love has gone into it. We were the first guests to stay, and I’m very happy to recommend it wholeheartedly. We’ll certainly return. UK holidays are more popular than ever, so if you see an available booking slot, snap it up. You won’t regret it!

A really great place to stay for a peaceful getaway. I’d highly recommend it.
