The George Inn

Jess and her team gave us such a warm welcome for our lovely three days over New Year at The George Inn Lower Brailes. It's an old place with loads of charm and character, clean and comfortable, and there was a cosy open fire in the bar each day. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. We ate in the restaurant every evening because the food was superb. Our room had ground coffee for the cafetière, a good selection of quality teas, and a miniature bottle of gin and tonic made by their own Company. The stay was even better than we expected, and we'll definitely be back. The whole team are a real credit to the industry.

Jess gave us a lovely welcome, and the whole team were fabulous. We had a comfortable stay at The George, with an immaculate, comfortable room. The restaurant meal was excellent, and it's a lively place with a great wine selection and fab cocktails. It's a handy location for the Cotswold Distillery, only two miles away. Highly recommend.

A proper gem of an English pub, and I 100% recommend it. Everyone on staff was friendly and made us feel at home. We had lovely beer and a delicious dinner, with really good food and service. Breakfast was great too. Brilliant stay at the George.

There was a beautiful log fire in the welcoming bar, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Customers and staff were all very friendly. Our meal looked amazing and tasted delicious, with great customer service. The garden outside is huge. Everything was clean, well cared for and well managed. Can't wait to go back.
