Lake View Apartments, Oulton Broads

Parking worked out fine. We spoke to the people in flat 1 and agreed we could fit 2-3 cars in the driveway, as long as we were considerate. The apartment had a modern interior that suited a couple, and the kitchen had everything we needed for the 2 meals a day we cooked there. The harbour and Oulton broads were a pleasant short walk away, as was the retail park. Lowestoft was okay, and Southwold and places like it were a short drive away and worth visiting. We had an amazing 4-day stay.

It has everything you need, including an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and clothes horse. The accommodation is comfy, and there’s a large, enclosed garden at the back, right by the harbour. Great if you're bringing a dog.

The apartment is a little gem, and we loved our stay. The location was ideal for both the seafront and the Broads. We slept peacefully, then woke to a beautiful view of the harbour from bed. Sitting in the garden, watching the boats sway in the breeze off the lake, was so relaxing. First-class accommodation. We didn't just like it, we loved it!

We really enjoyed the garden, with its two seating areas, and the footpath at the back. On our first evening, we went for a lovely walk. The view over the marina is lovely too. Flat 1 was beautiful, spotless and decorated so nicely. It felt airy and spacious, just right for relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were blankets in the living room for chilly evenings on the sofa in front of the TV. The location was ideal, a short walk to Oulton Broad shops and a park, and a short drive from Lowestoft. This was a much-needed holiday, medicine for the soul!
