Premier Inn Luton Town Centre

The breakfast was the biggest letdown. There were no croissants, pain au chocolate or muffins, unlike the better selection at other Premier Inn hotels. Luckily, we’d booked the full breakfast, so we could at least have some of the cooked food. There’s free parking next to the hotel, but compared with the last Premier Inn we stayed at, this one felt like a downgrade. Our family room had a shower room instead of a bath, there were only two bath towels for three people, and the broken thermostat meant we couldn’t change the temperature.

Free parking and a five-minute walk to the town centre made this Premier Inn a great choice. Reception staff were lovely, always happy to chat or offer advice, and went out of their way whenever I needed something. You can tell it’s a happy, good team, and that made the stay feel special.

I’m still waiting for this parking fine to be sorted out. I followed the front desk staff member’s instructions when I checked in after 10:00 PM: she told me to use Old Court House and took my car registration, assuring me it was registered properly. A few weeks later, a PCN arrived. I’ve called the hotel many times and never got an answer. I contacted Premier Inn Head Office/Guest Relations, and even they said they couldn’t get anyone at the Luton Town Centre hotel to pick up. They gave me an email address for the hotel, but I followed their instructions and got no reply. It’s unacceptable to leave a guest to deal with a fine after they followed staff directions, while the hotel can’t be reached by customers or its own Head Office. Extremely poor management and zero accountability. Avoid this hotel if you’re driving.

We got a great night's rest, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and on point. Phoebe and Amanda were amazing with our family and went above and beyond to look after us. Thanks to all of you. I’d highly recommend this Premier Inn if you’re passing through. Cj and family
