Best Western Plus Ullesthorpe Court Hotel & Golf Club

The cold stone facial was lovely, and we enjoyed the food as well. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were all nice. The place did look a little tired in spots, and a few areas didn't seem especially clean.

I really liked the location, and the free WiFi was respectably fast. For a similar price to the Premier Inn's in Rugby, I'd choose this hotel for the better food and setting. My room was comfortable, with a decent bed and a recently refurbished bathroom. Some shared areas could do with attention soon, especially the worn carpets, though they weren't terrible or run down. Breakfast was a very good buffet: cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, juices and espresso coffees, plus the usual cooked choices. The sausages and bacon were high quality. There were fried eggs, mushrooms, beans, grilled tomato, hash browns and fried bread, but no black pudding. The evening menu was decent and reasonably priced, given what eating out costs in 2026. Most of the meal was tasty and high quality, though the signature bao bun burger was a bit of a mis-step for me. The bun crumbled instead of adding anything, although maybe I just caught it on a bad bread day.

There's plenty of parking, which works well for corporate events, functions or a weekend away. The location is lovely, and the staff gave excellent service. Both breakfast and lunch were good, with dietary requirements well catered for.

The exterior looked a little worn at first, but inside it was modern, clean and very comfortable. The service was great, and the food was excellent.
