Mehmet kept checking details with us before our guests could see anything, and his direction made the day run so smoothly. He even helped us figure out how to make our wedding breakfast entrance. Caroline guided the whole wedding brilliantly, and the staff were wonderful, especially the incredibly polite waiters and waitresses. From booking Kilworth House, their communication and planning were exceptional. They talked through every detail, right down to saving our chosen cake for us at the end of the night, and everything was set up just right.

The peaceful grounds were lovely for a relaxing walk, and the hotel itself has so much character and charm. Our room was spacious, spotless and really comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive throughout, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The whole place felt calm and welcoming. We had a memorable stay, and everything exceeded our expectations. A great choice for a luxurious, restful break.

There was hardly any sense of occasion at our Valentine dinner. The rose on the table was about the only real sign of the evening, and the service lacked attention to guests' needs. We had hoped for soft music, from a baby grand or even a gentle audio system, but there was none. The champagne reception was held at a table in an almost empty dining room, with a poor choice of canapés. And ravioli would not be the first choice for many vegetarians, so in practice there was no choice. KH missed the warmth and cosy atmosphere that should have made this the most romantic date on the calendar. There was no heart in the evening.

We went for my Nan's 90th birthday, and the food was delicious with fabulous drinks. The staff were very helpful while we put our own decorations and cakes in the private dining room. The room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed, tea set, toiletries and a lovely view. The service was just what we wanted.

The buffet got lots of praise from our guests, who loved the flavour and how well everything was cooked. We held our daughter's christening at Kilworth House, and the team made the day feel easy from start to finish. Planning was stress free, with clear, prompt, professional communication. The Staging Post looked beautiful and was laid out just as we asked. On the day, service was polished, attentive and welcoming, so we could relax and enjoy the occasion knowing everything was handled. Guests have since told us how special it felt. Thanks to the whole team for making such an important family day memorable. We'd happily recommend Kilworth House for a special occasion.
