The Bell Inn

A lovely little pub with games to play. They didn't have what my little boy wanted, but the lady went out of her way to make him something he loved, probably even more than his original choice. Great food and a great experience. We'd definitely go back.

The landlady is really friendly, and the beers are very good quality.

Good value, friendly staff and locals, and dogs are welcome at this nice pub. Most of the dogs behaved perfectly well. One customer let things down by having their Yorkshire Terrier off lead and not completely well behaved.

We were in the garden when a man, who I presume was the landlord, came over to our group of women. Without even greeting us, he sharply asked why an umbrella was on the ground, then angrily told us off for moving it. We'd laid it on the dry ground and hadn't damaged it at all. There was no need for such an abrupt, antisocial approach. His manner was rude and unnecessarily aggressive towards women spending money in his pub. We won't be coming back. Avoid.
