Breakfast was a 10/10, cooked by Stuart, who was lovely to talk to and gave us recommendations for places to visit. Janet was just as lovely, so kind and welcoming, and couldn't have been more accommodating. We had an amazing stay at park cottage. The room was spotless, full of character and had perfect little details. I'd recommend it completely and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We came back again for another night, and it's always welcoming and consistently superb. Janet and Stuart are wonderful hosts, and it's a pleasure to return for our special nights away. We book the Sarah room every time for its big Jacuzzi Bath. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the breakfasts are amazing, with plenty of choice and a superb cooked breakfast. We love coming back year after year for valentines. It's handy for a stroll into town, with lots of pubs and restaurants along the way.

The breakfast was superb, freshly cooked, and once again nothing was too much trouble. Every need seemed covered, from lovely clean towels, shampoo and shower gel to chocolates on the pillow and pear drops on the dressing table. The furniture suited the room, and it felt like stepping into a stately home. Janet and Stewart were the most welcoming, accommodating hosts from the moment we arrived. Park Cottage is such a quaint building, and every room, from reception to the dining room, was exceptionally clean and tidy. We stayed in the Elizabeth four poster bedroom. There's no praise high enough, absolutely, I'd recommend a stay here.

The room was spacious, the breakfast really nice, and we enjoyed our stay. Janet and Stuart were lovely hosts, chatting with us and offering discounted castle tickets. Their friendly, homey place seems aimed at guests a bracket or two older than my wife and me, but we liked the feel they've created. The bed could have been levelled out with spacers under the legs. I know it's an old building that leans a little, which is part of what makes the place, but levelling the bed would have helped us rest. I'd absolutely recommend it, and I certainly won't forget it.

Janet and Stuart were so accommodating, and we'd recommend a stay here without hesitation. We absolutely loved it. The rooms are spotless and full of lovely little touches, with chocolates on the pillows every day, little dishes of sweets on the dressers, and a friendly teddy bear who likes to surprise you when you come back in the evening.
