Canal View Villa

The worst accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. We booked mainly for the hot tub and the advertised 4pm checkout, but were told we had to leave at 11am. The tub wasn’t hot, the water smelled, and despite complaining on the first night and having a woman come the next day, it still wasn’t hot enough to use at all. The heating also didn’t work for our whole stay, even after we reported it on the first night. The coffee and tea maker produced water that was on the cold side. The oven was filthy, with old fat on the bottom that smelled and smoked when switched on, so we couldn’t use it. There were no oven gloves, tea towel, hand towel, hand soap, or toiletries as advertised on booking.com. The bath plug didn’t work, so we couldn’t take a bath, and there was mould on the bath too.
