Linda made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We'd driven up from Devon for a friend's funeral later that day, so her offer of tea and biscuits in the garden was especially appreciated. Our pretty double room had a shower en-suite and was well equipped. Breakfast was delicious: orange juice, cereals, fruit yoghurt with a pot of mixed fruit, tea or coffee, a cooked breakfast, and plenty of toast and preserves. We stayed just one night, but would happily come back for longer.

Breakfast was lovely, and we enjoyed it while looking out over the beautiful garden. The room was cosy and comfortable, the village was lovely, and our host made us feel very welcome. We hope to return next year.

Such a peaceful place, with beautiful accommodation in a stunning house. The hostess was superb, and the breakfasts were absolutely A+. A real gem, and I hope we get to come back.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the place was lovely. We had a comfortable room in a quiet location and would certainly stay again if we're in the area.
