The room was bright, clean and comfortable, and the shared bathroom had everything stocked up. We only stayed briefly because our friends were getting married nearby, but Josie made us feel so welcome and put together a lovely vegetarian and vegan breakfast. We’d happily recommend staying here.

A handy spot for weddings at the Hall, just a short walk away. The rooms aren’t modern, but they were clean and had everything we needed. Josie was brilliant, and breakfast was freshly cooked, with orange juice, coffee and tea.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was really clean with all the facilities we needed. We were in town for a wedding at Walcot Hall, about a five-minute drive or ten-minute walk from the cottage. Josie took great care of us and made a fabulous breakfast. The slippers were a real lifesaver, too. A perfect host in a perfect location.

A cheerful, welcoming hostess and a fabulous breakfast, with lovely views from the cottage. You can buy homemade jams, and beautiful Walcotthall is close by for country walks.

I felt right at home here. A very kind lady looked after me so well and nothing seemed like too much trouble. It’s ideally placed for Walcot Hall, and I’d stay here again. Thank you, Josie xxx
