The cottage has a great spot overlooking the sea and resort, but inside it felt damp, smelly and not clean. The accommodation standard was closer to student housing, with old, cheap furniture like you’d find at donation shops and cracked cups. It felt like a place set up to fleece guests, with no heart to it. At 160 GBP a night in early March, off season, it wasn’t good value. Better to stay at the 5* Alexandra Hotel.
