The room was upgraded very generously, and it was dog friendly, so the whole family could come along. I spent my birthday weekend here and had a relaxed stay. Everything was clean and tidy, and breakfast was delicious. Our host was wonderful and very accommodating. The hotel is well placed for exploring other parts of the New Forest. We went to Lymington and Brockenhurst, and we'll be back soon!

Having the whole hotel for our wedding made it feel so private and personal. We had the ceremony, wedding breakfeast and evening reception there, and the food throughout was first class. The autumn sun coming through the terrace windows made for stunning pictures. Helena was lovely and helped with the planning, while Tim added personal touches, including extra flowers. The weekend ended with an amazing personal DJ set from techno Steve. Thank you for memories that will last a lifetime.

We enjoyed the view from our room, and the restaurant and lounge room were excellent places to spend time with our friends over tea and coffee. It’s a very good hotel. As you'd expect in a converted manor, our room was on the small side and had the usual quirks, but we had a very nice stay.

The food was divine. We had soup, then sea bass and chicken breast with sweet potato curry sauce. We booked online for a Monday evening in November, and it was quiet. Inside has a nice vibe, a little niche place where you're unlikely to get any riff-raff staying. It would work well as a base for exploring the area, or for relaxing in nearly 5 acres of grounds with local views. Stuart.

A lovely 15 room hotel on the edge of the New Forest. Our room was really nice, with a comfy bed and a well equipped bathroom, all kept to a high standard. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make the stay relaxing and memorable.
