The place can get very busy, so book ahead if you'd like a table for food. There's a regular entertainment schedule in the warmer months, too. The outdoor area is lovely and gets plenty of sun, and the on-site microbrewery has a great range of beers and lagers. The staff were professional and helpful throughout.

The pub has a great atmosphere, and we'd happily book again and recommend it to friends and family. We stayed one night in a very nice, comfortable room with a particularly comfortable bed. The staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was included, a hearty traditional English one.

We had excellent food for a great price, and the service was fantastic. It's a lovely microbrewery pub, with a nice terrace for sitting outside in the evening. They also sell cans of their beer to take away.

The busy road outside is the one drawback, but the place is still well worth a visit or a stay. It's a great pub, with fresh, delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped.
