The room was comfortable and the location was great, with several pubs by the canal and a Sainsbury's local right nearby. But when I arrived, both the front door and the inside door were on the latch. My room door was wide open with the key in it. That didn’t feel secure for an Air B&B. Should I be worried?

I’d heard colleagues talk about this place for ages before I finally booked. From outside I wasn’t expecting much, so the huge, lovely space inside was a pleasant surprise. The decor is really nice, though the bull looking down at me from above the bed was a bit freaky! I was also impressed to find a fridge and coffee maker in the room. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back.

The room’s right in the middle of the village, and the local car park charges only £3 for overnight parking. It was huge and very clean, with a lovely bathroom and a great shower. Just a small annoyance, the room door is stiff to close and tends to slam.

We came to Lymm for a mini break and had great bars and restaurants to enjoy. The Boutique rooms are central, with parking close by, and ours was airy, spacious, beautifully decorated and super clean. The bed was so comfortable that we’ve decided to order an Eve Mattress for home.

Worth booking. The room was spotless and right in the town centre, with parking very close by at a reasonable £3.60 a day.
