We had a lovely stay on Valentine’s Day. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were helpful and really friendly. It’s also a great base for walking around Lyndhurst and the surrounding area. I’m sure my wife and I will come back!

We had a ground floor room for one night and were travelling by motorbike. Parking was a bit of a concern, but they let us bring the bikes into the patio or garden area. There’s food and drink in house, made fresh, so order an hour ahead. The natural surroundings were nice, and there’s a Ferrari showroom just around the corner.

I chose this place because I was travelling with two dogs and it’s dog friendly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was good. Just a heads up, the stairs are very steep and narrow, with a heavy door at the top, and my bigger dog struggled with them.

We spent New Year’s Eve here with our dogs. The owner and staff were so friendly, and our room was lovely, warm and large, with comfortable beds and a great shower. Breakfast was lovely. You have to order it in advance, but that works well because there’s no waiting. Lyndhurst town is only a few minutes away, with great shops and restaurants.

What a gem, Ormonde house hotel! We stayed for one night before boarding our cruise in Southampton and couldn’t have picked better. It’s a beautiful, well-appointed hotel in the heart of the New Forest, with wonderful staff and lots to offer. The restaurant and bar are excellent too. Highly recommended!
