The cottage is very spacious, with lovely views, and it’s quiet and remote. Just be prepared for the steep hill up to it. The front room and snug smelled extremely damp, and much of the cottage could use fresh paint or wallpaper. The reed diffusers were all empty, so it felt like there’d been no ventilation, and the tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplied were two years out of date. I enjoyed my holiday, but I wouldn’t return to the cottage. It seems rather pricey for what you get.
