The Fairmile

One morning I came down to find a birthday card, chocolates, balloons, and banners waiting for me. I've never had such a thoughtful, personal surprise while paying for accommodation. Jason and Melanie are two of the most affable people I've had the pleasure of meeting. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was made to order. There was an extensive selection at the honest bar, and the location was fantastic for our stay during lytham festival. I also thought it was excellent value despite booking through booking.com. Apparently it can be even cheaper to book direct, so that's what I'll do next time. Looking forward to seeing you again, and thank you!

We're train travellers, so the Fairmile's location by the rail station is a real bonus. We couldn't hear any train noise. The hotel was spotless and had a great range of breakfast options. The hosts are welcoming, friendly, and know all about the Fylde coast. This was our second stay and definitely won't be our last. Thanks to Melanie and Jason for looking after us again. The location made everything easy for my mum, my daughter and me. Mum is 81 and still very sprightly, and the beach, shops, restaurants and cinema were all within walking distance. We stayed for two nights for my 50th birthday. The room was spotless and beautiful, and breakfast was the best. Jason and Melanie made us feel right at home, then surprised me with balloons, banners, a card and chocolates in my room after our day out. We’d happily recommend it and will definitely be back.

This has become one of my favourite places over the years. I’ve been coming with my family for ages, and Jason and Melanie always make us feel at home. They’re also ready with suggestions whenever we need them. The rooms are comfortable, and it’s well placed for getting around town.
