Lusso Macclesfield Serviced Apartments

I've been staying here for over a year because the location suits my job, but we've been without a lift for more than 10 months. Whenever we ask, we're told they're waiting for the company to fix it. I've been waiting all this time. I even offered to move to a two-bedroom apartment and negotiate around the lift issue, but they refused. The whole building is dirty. The corridors aren't cleaned, and the laundry room is shameful, with dirty machines and a filthy space that's clearly not cared for. The website says there's a gym, but after more than a year I'm still waiting for it to be ready. The apartment windows have been cleaned only once in the more than a year I've lived here. Victoria Crampton, the manager, doesn't answer our emails. What do we have to do to get these building problems fixed?

We booked these apartments months ahead for Parklife festival and had confirmation details for our reservation. After travelling from London, we arrived to check in and were told the booking was 'cancelled'. When we showed the confirmation, the receptionist said their system had been acting up since the day before and marking many bookings as cancelled. She said every room was taken and there was nothing she could do, so we had to find somewhere else. They knew about the problem but made no effort to contact people with bookings for the next day. We were left stranded with no help. The customer service was appalling and ruined our whole weekend. Don't waste your money here.

The location is the only good thing about this terrible hotel. There's no one at reception, so you have to call when you need something and wait for someone to come. My room was dirty when I arrived, with food scraps in the sink, someone's hair in the shower and dirty floors. I asked to change rooms, but there were none available. It was cold too, though they got the heating fixed by evening. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

The location is prime, and so are the rooms, but the lift didn't work at any point during my stay of about 10 days. I still don't think it's been fixed. After an 18-hour flight, I had to haul 6-7 trolleys up four floors of stairs. It was painful. I'd only recommend staying if the lift is working.
