Linda and Charlotte made us feel welcome, and we really enjoyed our night here. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. There’s a beautiful bar with a roaring fire and a great choice of food and drinks. Dinner was delicious, and the breakfast selection the next morning was top notch. Our dogs loved their sleepover too. We'd highly recommend staying, and we'll definitely be back.

The new chef's Sunday lunch was the best roast we've had in ages. Our group tried the beef, lamb, chicken and nut roast, and we practically licked our plates clean. The apple and berry crumble with custard was just as good. Service was quick, the staff were friendly, and Linda the landlady was a wonderful host. We'll definitely return for another roast and to try the weekday menu. We heartily recommend it.

We stopped for Sunday roast while away for a weekend in the Brecon Beacons. The portions were generous, the service fantastic and the food absolutely delicious. We'd highly recommend it.

We stayed two nights and had a great time. After a long day walking, the clean, lovely room was just what we wanted. The staff made us feel at home straight away, and it has a proper pub feel, with real ales and a comfy atmosphere. It's a great place to relax and a handy base for exploring and walking. It's very dog friendly too, right down to a little breakfast for the dog, which was a lovely touch. The food was 10/10, no complaints at all. We'd definitely stay again.

We usually just drive past on our journey, but this time we stopped for a Sunday roast and had a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and helpful, the meat and veg well cooked, and there were gluten free options. All the trimmings were there too, in a pleasant setting with a roaring log fire. Thanks to everyone, hopefully we'll see you again soon.
