Brookhall Cottages

I’ve photographed weddings at Brookhall lots of times. It’s a laid-back venue with friendly staff, and there are plenty of lovely spots around the grounds for photos.

Having the grounds open to us meant we could make the day feel like our own. Pauline and Rosemary were so accommodating, too. We knew as soon as we stepped in to view Brookhall that it was the venue for us, and it truly made our wedding the best day of our lives. If you’re after somewhere quirky, personal and unique, do go and see it.

The cottages worked so well for getting ready and for staying after the wedding, and bringing in our own vendors and handling the setup ourselves was a real plus. We could put our own stamp on the day, with so much support from Rosemary and Pauline. We got married at Brookhall this weekend and honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The venue felt perfect in every way, and we couldn’t have asked for more. We highly recommend it.

Everyone said it was one of the most relaxed weddings they’d been to, and the Brookhall team helped make that happen. Rosemary and Pauline were supportive and full of useful suggestions and contacts, from caterers and bar providers to event decorators. We married at Brookhall last summer, with family and close friends, and had such a special day in an intimate setting. It’s all in one place, which suited us because we wanted a personal, relaxed wedding rather than a standard corporate hotel event. The cottages gave our family and friends somewhere to stay, and our family dogs were with us throughout the day. We took photos in the lovely gardens, by the lake and in the wildflower meadow. We’d definitely recommend Brookhall, and we’ll always remember Rosemary, Pauline and our day fondly.
