The Quarters Watford

I had a really good year at The Quarters Watford, from November 2022 to November 2023. Katie was especially supportive, approachable, and efficient throughout my tenancy. The building stayed clean, secure, and well managed, and problems were handled quickly and professionally. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place that's run well.

For a working professional, this was a quiet and convenient place to stay. The hospital, Sainsbury's, and the city center are all within walking distance, with shops, restaurants, a cinema, and an escape room there too. I rented an affordable studio for three months, and Katie was very helpful. Monthly payments include all bills. The place was clean and secure, staff were friendly and quick to respond, and I never had any trouble with them or other residents. A week after I moved in, they held a social with free food and drinks so residents could relax and meet each other, plus some amazing entertainment. I'd definitely recommend The Quarters Watford.

It's a safe, comfortable place to stay, and the studio is kept to a good standard with regular maintenance. The staff are friendly. There's parking on site, and the train station is only a short walk away.

Even now, a year and a half after staying there, I'm bothered by how aggressive and unprofessional the management was. I was there for six months, and my privacy was breached more than once. I had given advance notice about a scheduled virtual interview, but a staff member still came into my room without permission. I had to raise my voice to get them to leave me alone. When I complained, staff kept shifting the conversation to unrelated matters instead of dealing with what had happened, which made everything more stressful. Communication was inconsistent during my stay, and there was often little respect for guest privacy. It made the whole experience difficult to navigate. I hope future guests know these kinds of problems may come up.
