The restaurant was good value, and the food was good. The room, though, was dingy and dusty, with cobwebs on the windows, a hair on the bed, and an unclean table. There was no kettle, and the small window had no curtain. I asked for something to cover it and was given a towel. The shower didn’t work, the TV signal was terrible, and the remote barely worked. The stairs up to the rooms were dirty and badly needed a deep clean.

I had a great stay, so I don’t understand the negative reviews. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. It’s not the Ritz, but you get what you pay for, and I thought it was great value.

Avoid this place. There were bed bugs, heavy limescale on the kettle and shower, and the shower was blocked so the water wouldn’t drain.

Parking was easy, and the bed was comfortable with clean bedding. The double room itself was worn, though, and the bathroom was filthy. Outside my window, the attached restaurant’s extractors stopped late and started up early. In the early hours I couldn’t tell if a Eurofighter Typhoon was flying overhead or if the extractor had come on.

I stayed here while working nights, getting back around 9 or 10 in the morning. The front door would be locked, and there was no way to get into the hotel. If you went out for breakfast, you were stuck out for the day until the adjoining restaurant opened later. The rooms weren’t cleaned to a good standard or furnished well, and I didn’t think it was good value for money.
