We found Birch Cottage close to home, but it felt like a hidden gem. The place was cosy, warm and so comfortable, with thoughtful little details everywhere. There were playing cards and a couples game, and the hot tub was a lovely way to unwind in the evening. The bed was comfortable too, and the heating kept the cottage warm in the cold weather. We were grateful for the fresh bread, eggs, butter, milk and lemon cake. We also got to feed the alpacas and meet sweet Dolly the dog. We had such an amazing night and are already thinking about coming back next summer. Thanks for a perfect stay.

We were sad to leave Oak cottage, but hope to return. Laurain was wonderful, with lovely moreish freshly baked goods and some great hampers. We stayed as a family with our two dogs, and the accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming to both children and dogs. It felt like a home away from home, and the hot tub was fabulous. Seeing the alpacas first thing in the morning was beautiful. There are some great places to visit and see nearby. Five stars doesn't really do this place justice. The animals were such a joy to see, and I spotted sweet wild rabbits in the field this morning. In the pretty cottage, everything we needed was there, the little touches were lovely, and it was perfectly clean. The hot tub was lovely and just the right temperature. We were also left complimentary homemade cake, a freshly made loaf, milk and eggs, all delicious. We had the most amazing stay, everything felt just right. Thank you, Stable oak cottages. We'll be back.

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing, and the host was very helpful. The cottage was well equipped, and we made full use of the hot tub. The welcome treats of cake, bread, eggs, butter and milk were lovely. We'll definitely recommend the place and come back. Thank you.

The hosts were absolutely amazing, and the cottage was very clean and well maintained. It's not far from the train station or Leeds castle. We used public transport, and the host kindly picked us up from and dropped us off at the station. They also left homemade bread, butter, eggs, milk and cake. It made for a perfect getaway, and I'd highly recommend it.
