We had delicious pumpkin soup and braised beef with mash, with attentive service and good food all round. The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful, and even looked after our dog with treats. The setting is lovely, with a cosy fire and comfortable seats. Dog friendly too. Thanks, guys.

The service was outstanding, with everyone polite, friendly and attentive. I stopped in at the last minute for a roast and found a great pub, with lovely decor and a cosy feel. The roast was one of the best I've had in a pub, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

A quaint little B&B in a lovely spot by the river, and perfectly placed for exploring Maldon. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The only reason I'd give it four rather than five was the very noisy radiator.

We came as a big group and they were happy to let us move tables so we could all sit together. Everyone was really friendly, and they make a very good coffee. I wasn't keen on the price, but I never am, the cost of living sucks.

The pub is beautiful and the rooms are well priced. Jane is now in recovery for Follicle Rehab Treatment under the new management. After staying vicariously through Four In A Bed, I found the service excellent.
