We’ve stayed at River House several times over the past few years when visiting Malham, and I’m sure we’ll be back before long. Ann and Alex are welcoming hosts, and the location right in the heart of Malham is fantastic. The bedrooms are very comfortable and breakfast is wonderful. I also appreciate the thoughtful extras, like cafetiere coffee in the bedroom and homemade biscuits. We highly recommend River House.

Breakfast the next morning was incredible, and I’d definitely recommend the eggs Benedict. Alex was lovely about my late check-in after cycling in, stayed up to make sure we got in safely, and gave us some really nice homemade flapjack. He also kept our bikes in a secure room overnight. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Top-notch B&B. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The host was great and very accommodating. We had a quiet bedroom with a comfortable bed, and the rooms and facilities were lovely. The cooked breakfast was lovely too. We’d highly recommend it. Kelley & Nic x

We slept really well at this comfortable, beautiful B&B. It’s in a splendid spot, within a mile or two of some spectacular natural sights. There’s plenty of shared space downstairs, dependable broadband and lovely breakfasts, plus delicious home baking. Hope to return.

We used the B&B’s walking books and travel tips to plan our time in the area, and it was handy to order packed lunches for a day out in the Dales. We were really pleased with our stay and would recommend River House to anyone looking for somewhere in Malham. Alex, the proprietor, gave us a warm welcome, showed us to our room and brought a flask of fresh milk for tea while we settled in. He’d also left some delicious home-baked treats, a lovely touch. The room was spotless, thoughtfully decorated and had nice natural light. Ann served a generous, delicious breakfast made to order.
