The Mission Bunkhouse

I slept really well during my two nights here. The room seemed to keep out noise, as I didn’t hear traffic or people in the hallway. Delina was kind, friendly and hospitable. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room, plus a balcony where you can have coffee and enjoy the morning view. I also had a nice chat with travellers from around the world. The location is great, about a minute from the railway station and two minutes from the harbour for ferries and wildlife cruises. I’d happily stay again if I return to Mallaig.

Good value, with friendly and helpful owners, and right across from the train station. Mallaig is a small village with some lovely walks, and it’s well worth staying overnight.

A friendly, helpful owner and a simple room made for a lovely stay. The bathroom was shared, and there was also a kitchen and living area. It was very good value for the price. The location is handy for the train station, ferry terminal, Co-op and places to eat, especially if you need a night before catching the ferry.

You get a clean, private room with a lock, though the rooms are small. The people running the place are incredibly helpful and friendly, and pretty much everything you need in Mallaig is across the road. There’s a comfortable lounge, kitchen, roof terrace and nice shared bathroom facilities. It’s no-frills, but once you know it isn’t a luxury hotel, the value is amazing. Highly recommended.
