We stayed at The Comedy Cottage at the end of May 2018. It's set up for couples, close to the main road, and handy for plenty to see and do if you want to get out, or for doing very little. Google Maps got us there easily, including down the discreet little road to the cottage. The tennis court was a lovely feature and in fabulous condition. Inside, the kitchen downstairs was one of the best equipped I've come across in a cottage. I love cooking, and even found a cake tin. There was also a thoughtful welcome of snacks waiting for us, much appreciated after the long drive. Upstairs is a roomy loft with a double bedroom, ensuite bathroom and living area with a sofa, lamps, TV/DVD player and board games. It's a converted barn, so watch your head on the low beams. I bumped mine several times. It wasn't luxurious, but it was comfortable and we had no complaints.

The accommodation was bigger than we'd expected, and there was safe parking. The hosts were friendly, and the gardens and outdoor space were beautiful. Just lovely.
