The owner was so kind when I turned up a week before my booking by mistake. She rearranged things so I could stay. My room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and there were good tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was delicious too. Thanks for being so lovely.

We arrived to tea and freshly baked scones, and felt welcome throughout. The room was very well equipped, with lovely countryside views, and breakfast was superb. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. Highly recommended.

The host was very helpful, and breakfast was great. We had lovely morning views from our bedroom, too. It’s a very nice place for an overnight stay, though we missed the turnoff and found it a bit tricky to locate, probably because of our old Sat Nav. There’s a pub a short walk away with good food.

We had a really relaxing four-night stay on the edge of Malton. You do need a car, though we were able to walk because our daughter was nearby. I wouldn’t want to make the walk to the train station.

We found it quiet and peaceful, with open fields around the rural setting. It’s still close to A64, which makes getting to other places easy. The hosts were friendly, and the rooms were clean with everything we needed. A lovely choice for a peaceful break.
