Nick and Lisa made us feel so welcome and did all they could to make the stay easier, including catering for our autistic son's very restrictive diet. The family room is split into two, which meant the kids weren't snoring right beside us. The accommodation is in a separate building, quiet and free from pub or road noise. Breakfast was served in a lovely setting and everyone enjoyed it. It's a comfortable, family-friendly place, and we'll definitely come back. Highly recommend.

We spent two weeks in the Stag room while waiting for our house to be ready, and we've already started recommending it to friends who visit. Lisa and Nick are lovely hosts, always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The family room gives parents some space from the children in the evening, and as someone who's fussy about cleaning, I was very happy with how clean it was. Don't miss the full English breakfast. The pub has a warm, welcoming feel and adds to the stay.

Quiz night was a laugh, even though we didn't win, and the staff were friendly. Drinks are cheap, the room was cosy and comfortable, and there's parking at the back. The full English breakfast was good, and the dogs were lovely too.

There's a big space at the back for live music, and holiday lets there too. The pub has a great atmosphere and a good, fair choice of drinks. Staff and locals were friendly.

A hidden gem with a lovely beer garden, and it's dog friendly as well. I've been a few times while visiting family, and the staff and owners are all polite. I'll keep coming back.
