This time we came back to The Talbot just for lunch, after staying there several times before. The food was first class, as you'd expect from a hotel with such high standards, and the service was faultless. We really enjoyed being back and hope to return soon. It's a lovely hotel in a great location, and I can assure anyone thinking of visiting that you won't be disappointed.

Coco🐶 got such a lovely welcome, with paw wipes and treats on the front porch and a welcome pack for her. Our room was beautiful, and dinner was delicious too. All the staff were super friendly and knew their service. Thank you, we'll be back.

Hannah served us during Sunday lunch and was really attentive. She also shared information about other Hotels and locations. The roast was gorgeous. We'd definitely recommend the food and are thinking of trying an overnight stay at one of the Hotels.

The views are great, though the slope around the grounds takes some negotiating. Parking was a bit difficult for us because my wife isn't very mobile. All the spaces by the front door were taken, so we had to park further away and up the hill. The hotel is in a commanding position in Malton, and it's an atmospheric building with a lot to offer. Staff were attentive and the food satisfying. It maintains and exceeds the standard of other hotels in the chain.

We met friends for a lunchtime catch-up at The Talbot, our first time there, and were helped with a voucher too. The place felt quaint and atmospheric, and the service made an immediate impression. We were formally greeted and shown to our table, then a friendly, breezy waiter came over and was a joy. The food was very good, and everything after that was superb. This will be our restaurant of choice from now on. Thanks for such an enjoyable visit!
