Gill was a pleasure to meet, and it was lovely to share her home. She’s a welcoming and attentive host, and staying at Bricket House felt just like home. The house and grounds are amazing, and we felt relaxed straight away. It’s a perfect escape in a beautiful location, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay.

Even on what must have been the hottest night of the year, our room stayed bright and airy. The setting feels delightfully rural, though town is only a surprisingly short drive away, and the modern amenities were lovely. Our hosts were so welcoming, and even left a congratulations card at breakfast because we’d got married on the day we arrived. The continental breakfast was much better than most we’ve had elsewhere, and the dining area and kitchen were superb. Highly recommended.🙂

The host was available if we had questions, though we were otherwise completely independent. The one-bedroom apartment was immaculate, with a modern kitchen and bathroom. It’s in a lovely, peaceful location with plenty of parking. We’d come back for another visit.
