The bar was cosy, and the location worked perfectly for walks. We had a lovely, clean, modern room that welcomed our dog, and the staff made a fuss of him too. Breakfast was very nice, and the Sunday carvery was amazing, with generous portions and everything cooked and seasoned just right. Everyone was so friendly. Great value, and we’ll definitely be back soon.

The food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. It’s a lovely little village, too. This was my first visit to Kestor inn today, though my uncle used to come regularly and it was one of his favourite places. It’s still my Grandad’s favourite.

The old-fashioned homely feel, roaring fires, and beautiful building made me want to stay all day. It’s tucked away in the moors, and the staff were lovely. They even kindly brought my dog a sausage. The fish and chips were exceptional, the beer was great, and I’ll certainly return. Many thanks.

The room and view were great, and the beer and wine were very good. It’s a friendly, relaxing place without any pretension. We had pork belly and steak with blue cheese, and the food was amazing.

Surrounded by stunning scenery, the location is fantastic. Sandra gave us amazing service, and the food was lovely. The owner, Gary, sat down and had a chat with us, such a nice guy. Definitely recommend 100%.
