This is a residential building where families live, and the constant stream of parties, drugs and unknown or unverified visitors in the homes and shared areas is causing real problems. Drugs have been found in hallways, people have been drunk throughout the building, and amenities have been damaged. The residents are unhappy and don’t want this to continue. You’ve ruined the building.

I booked a weekend, and the reservation was confirmed, but I had to chase them for check-in details. Those eventually arrived, then two days after I asked for them, nearly two weeks after the booking confirmation, I got an email saying they were cancelling because they’d overbooked. It feels more like they saw I’d got a good price and wanted more money. The system and customer service are awful. Avoid!

In ten years of booking hotels for work, I’ve never had this happen. I booked two rooms on 24th December, then on 1st December I got an automated email cancelling both because they didn’t have availability. That’s only two days before check-in.

The apartment comfortably fit the three of us, and had everything we needed, including a high seat for children. It was modern, well looked after, secure, and had lovely views. I was impressed as soon as we arrived, and the hosts kept checking in to make sure arrival went smoothly and we were comfortable. On our last day, though, the shower was scalding hot even at its coldest setting, and I don’t know why. It might also be helpful to leave a bottle or two of water in the fridge for guests arriving from far away.
