We wanted our wedding to feel like a big house party, and that’s exactly how it turned out. The venue was immaculate, and the food and service were excellent. From our first meeting with Jenny, the whole team was exceptional and nothing felt like too much trouble. Some of us have worked in hotels, so we’re a tough crowd to please, but we couldn’t fault it. Didsbury House made the day so special. Thank you to everyone who helped.

We got married here in 2023 and have returned every year for a stay since. The hotel always looks immaculate, and the staff are so attentive. Each visit feels intimate and memorable. Thanks to everyone for another fantastic stay.

For the price, I expected a standard closer to a four-star hotel, but it wasn’t even close. The place is hot and stuffy, with no ventilation or air conditioning, and the Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room. I also couldn’t connect to a work meeting in the lounge. Breakfast is in a cramped, impersonal basement area. Eleven Didsbury, the sister hotel further down the road, is much better for the same price.

What made planning our wedding at Didsbury House Hotel so good was the support from the staff. Jenny helped us coordinate everything beforehand, while Natalia and Laura were on it and so helpful on the day. Nicola at reception stayed positive and patient through the chaos of checking out. The hotel is gorgeous, beautifully appointed throughout, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. Our guests raved about the mattresses. The food was excellent, and the team accommodated our requests, even letting us bring beer and cider on tap from our home towns and serving them at the bar. It was one of the best days of our lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate future anniversaries at Didsbury House.

Our guests kept telling us how lovely the venue and rooms were, and how delicious the food was. Jenny was brilliant with all the planning, and Rick made sure the day itself ran smoothly. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We had a perfect wedding at Didsbury House Hotel in September 2025. Thanks so much to everyone, we’re looking forward to visiting again for future anniversaries.
