I stayed from 5/20 to 5/23. Will, who worked in the dining room, was really nice and helpful, and the free breakfast had all the basics. The room was fine for two people and our luggage, and the air conditioning was exceptionally good. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Corn Exchange, Arnade shopping center and Manchester Cathedral. One thing that disappointed me was housekeeping. I finished a tissue box and pulled out the empty box, expecting a new one, but the staff just put about 15 tissues into the old outer box. That was disgusting. Apart from that, it was a great stay.

There were toenail clippings left by the previous occupants, and flies were hovering around the breakfast food and landing on the pastries. The facilities were damaged or not working properly, and the air conditioning didn't work. Staff said they'd follow up on my complaint, but I never heard from them. Don't stay here, it's a rip-off and there are definitely better options. Hilton should review this hotel. The service was very poor, and this place isn't suitable to be called a Hilton.

James at the front desk was efficient, friendly and very helpful, as were the other staff. Diane was lovely and helpful too. The room was large, modern, spotless and surprisingly quiet despite being on a busy street. Breakfast was awesome, especially the fresh bap with sausages, HP, cheese and tomato. As a lifetime diamond member of Hilton, we were very impressed and will definitely stay again.

The hotel was spotless and comfortable throughout, and breakfast had plenty of delicious options. James and Harrison were warm and attentive, and helped us with our football tickets and with the tech. They made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. A fantastic stay, and I'll definitely return and recommend the hotel.

The room was small and very basic, with no room service, complimentary water, or anything in the mini fridge. It also lacked extra towels, bathrobes and slippers. We'd said we were travelling for a special occasion, but nobody acknowledged it or did anything to make the stay feel special. For the Hilton name, the amenities and service felt minimal, more like a budget hotel than expected. Check-in took around 20 minutes even though there was only one person ahead of us. Reception seemed understaffed, and the one staff member didn't seem welcoming or approachable. We arrived early and were tired, so we asked for early check-in. They allowed it for an extra charge. We agreed, but it didn't feel considerate in the circumstances. We didn't enjoy the stay and wouldn't return.
