Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly

The rooms were clean and bright, and the staff made the whole stay feel lovely, from check-in through to check-out. They were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast featured local food, and the staff were amazing at pointing out which options suited our dietary needs.

We had a great view over the city, and the room was spacious, with plenty of towels and pillows. The bed was comfy, though the room was hot. I could have adjusted the temperature controls if I’d thought of it at the time. We had drinks while waiting for check-in at 3pm, then got checked in quickly with simple instructions. I’d booked Leonardos for a girls’ stay to see the Tina Turner story at Palace theatre, a short taxi ride away, about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The next morning we treated ourselves to breakfast for £10pp, with hot and cold drinks, pastries, cereal and hot food from a buffet. Excellent, and it set us up for the day. Check-out was quick, we just handed in the key card. Would definitely stay again.

Getting around was easy from Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly. It’s a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, and the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, major landmarks, shopping districts and the Northern Quarter are all close by. The price was very reasonable for a major city centre, so it felt like good value for money, whether visiting for business or leisure. My room was spotless, with a contemporary design and fresh feel, and the whole property, including the chic lobby and dining areas, was meticulously maintained. From arrival, the staff were professional and welcoming and made check-in smooth. It’s an outstanding choice for modern comfort and a strategic location, offering a premium experience without a luxury price tag.

Dale and Malik really went above and beyond, helping with my luggage and making sure I was looked after. The staff were attentive, professional, friendly and lovely throughout. Breakfast was so good, and as a Leonardo member I got complimentary late check-out. My room was clean and spacious, with a mini fridge, and the shower was amazing. There’s an onsite gym too. Everything was 10/10. It was my second time at the Leonardos, and I’ll definitely be back.
