The Cow Hollow Hotel

We had a great time chatting with the sweet staff in the lobby, and the front desk gave us helpful recommendations for attractions and food. The room was turned over daily and felt clean, tidy and neat. It wasn't very loud inside or outside. There was free wine and snacks each evening, milk and cookies in bed, and breakfast in bed, which was great every night. The shower water never got very warm, though. It's a very intimate hotel with amazing staff, and worth the stay.

The team at the Cow Hollow are lovely, attentive and helpful, and it's hard to imagine better service. My room was spotlessly clean and nicely done, though on the small side with hardly any storage. That was fine for me as a solo traveller. I especially liked the little extras, from breakfast brought to the room and tea or coffee whenever you want it, to evening prosecco and nibbles and hot chocolate with cookies delivered upstairs. I'll definitely be back.

The hotel is tiny, about as wide as our lounge, and tucked away enough that it took us a bit to find. Once there, we loved the location, welcome and vibe. We booked a deluxe room direct with the hotel and each got a gorgeous cocktail and prosecco for free. Our room was great, with a comfy double bed and thoughtful touches like earplugs and sweets. Room service and breakfast were fab. We'd stay again.

I was here for work, but now I'd like to come back to Manchester with my wife and stay here. The boutique hotel really stood out: good service, clean, nicely decorated rooms, and prosecco with nibbles sent to the room when I arrived. A lovely touch.
