This is about Flat 58, the penthouse. We arrived to a filthy place that clearly hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. The sheets and pillowcases were dirty, the duvets stained, and the bins overflowing. Nobody answered when we called for help. Cleaners were offered the next morning, but we'd already cleaned the whole place ourselves and lost our plans for the day. It was completely unacceptable to suggest sending someone after we'd done the work during our vacation. The worst stay we've ever had, and the property showed no regard for its guests.

We paid £150 a night for a weekend apartment in Manchester through Airbnb and got the bare minimum, with an uncomfortable stay. The carpets were dirty and the mattress was broken. We complained and they just shrugged it off. The host, company names and photos are all a mask. They want your money. We'll be back to Manchester, but next time we'll stay in a hotel.

I live opposite Halo, and I wouldn't wish living there on anyone. The noise is awful every night, with loads of Airbnb rentals and parties that can have 20-odd people in a two-bedroom flat. Friends have moved in and quickly moved out. The building calls itself high class, which is laughable. If you're thinking of renting there, don't. Avoid it!

The owners were really friendly and helpful, and the apartment was clean throughout. The beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked well. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. We'll be back.

The worst apartment I've ever rented. Check-in was at 17:00, and when we got there, the apartment was dirty. The bed had dirty leaves and the carpet was dirty too...
